The Dean of Mirage University was a powerful Mage name Dianna Dregsly. Ms. Dregsly is one of the most prominent and important people in all of Mirage City and though Kota had only met with this woman once before he was more confident than ever thanks to Professor Faulk. His feet racing underneath him Kota soon reached the Dean’s Office, of all the rooms in Mirage City maybe twenty were made with wooden doors and walls, the Dean’s office would be an example of this. Kota stood before two towering wooden doors with intricate carvings of animals and villages that almost seemed to move and come to life, acting out some happy little play. As Kota was readying his hand to knock a voice from behind him almost knocked him off his feet. “Are you here to see Madam Dianna as well tall boy?” behind Kota stood a group of four men escorting a young girl about 7-8 years of age. Kota was dumbfounded it was the Mage King’s daughter Princess Holly. “Your highness, what a pleasure it is to meet you. Yes I was going in just now would you wish to accompany me?” As Kota said this he took to his knee and bowed his head. The young princess reached out and touched Kota’s shoulder. When he looked up the four men guarding the young princess had scowls adorning their faces, but the princess was smiling a wonderful warm smile. “I would be delighted to have you accompany me sir. Your four can wait here I’ll be done with my lessons in an hour or so until then find something to occupy yourselves.” She waved off the guards then she reached behind Kota and knocked lightly on the doorway. The wooden doors swung inside and revealed a two story room its walls covered in books with a large ash wood desk centered in the room. Behind the desk sat a tiny old woman about four feet tall, though she is small there is a powerful aura of wisdom and strength that filled the room. “Madam Dianna there is a young man here to see you.” The princess ran over to the desk and plopped down in one of two chairs sitting in front of it. Madam Dianna barely looked up as she acknowledged Kota’s presence. “Well Kota what do you need youngster? I’m swamped here and about to start a tutoring session so make it quick.” Kota seized the opportunity to explain that he needed funds to make a prototype of his glamor proof goggles. As Kota was speaking he noticed a slight blur in his vision and rubbed his eyes. “Well youngster that sounds like a very ambitious project… but no sadly you will not receive the funds from this university.”  Kota’s face drooped in a defeated look of disappointment as he said “Thank you for your time Madam Dianna I appreciate you hearing me out.” He turned to walk out when the princess spoke. “I will fund your project Mr. Kota here.” The princess removed seven gold coins from her bag and ran over to Kota and placed them in his hands. “Princess this is most generous, thank you; I am humbled by your gift.” Kota had an overwhelming feeling of gratitude as he took the coins and bowed his head. “My only request is that when you perfect your invention you supply me with a pair of these goggles I believe these could prove invaluable to our guards and sentries.”
